Architects Kauai, a full service architectural firm, was founded in 1989 when Mark Eyler and Bill Bess (now retired) offered their combined services under one name. Mr. Eyler is the principle architect of the firm. Architects Kauai provides architectural, site planning, and landscape architecture design. The staff also has practical experience with the construction side of the building process.

The firm works with a team approach, which means professional service are performed by a collaboration of individuals and firms with expertise in site planning, engineering, landscape design, and construction management. Consultants and sub-consultants are selected on the basis of their experience in successfully completing projects of similar scope and complexity.

The goal of Architects Kauai is to offer the highest quality diversified service to our clients. While we are accomplished in many different styles of architecture, we are particularly interested in buildings appropriate to the tropical setting of the island and make the most of the wonderful environment of Kauai. For example, we are excited about the possibilities of using island-grown bamboo for structural and finish material. Bamboo is not only strong and insect resistant, it is also quite beautiful and can add to the aesthetics of the building.
